A Bright Light Shining on My Soul
My friend, Yvette Johnson, has Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Diagnosed just a few years ago, this beloved wife and mother of two communicate through a device that scans the movement of her eyes.
Three sentences she wrote yesterday remain with me:
I feel blessed to be here one more day.
God has given me a peace that passes all understanding.
I have not let ALS define who I am.
When I first read what Yvette had written, it was as if a bright light was suddenly shining on my soul.
Yvette's testimony of Blessing, Peace and Inspired Holy Identity is still shining, and I hope it never ever goes out.
Thank you, Yvette.
